About
A multilingual creative working between language and image.
I'm Rosa Mancebo, a senior Spanish localisation specialist and emerging travel writer-photographer, based in Lanzarote and often working further afield.
For more than fourteen years, I've helped brands adapt product, marketing, UX, and AI content into Spanish that feels natural, precise, and culturally at home. It's work I care deeply about, and it continues to shape how I think about language, tone, and audience.
At the same time, I'm developing a growing body of editorial and visual work, including travel writing, photo essays, and content creation for tourism, culture, diving, and lifestyle brands.

Travel writing, photography & content
Editorial storytelling for travel, culture, and destination brands. Photo essays, features, branded content, and visual stories built on the same discipline that shapes the translation work: careful voice, careful eye, careful edit.

A few subjects I keep circling back to.
My work keeps returning to culture, diving, off-the-beaten-path destinations, tech, lifestyle, and movement, which together define the tone of the content I write as well as my photography.
Culture
An editorial instinct for how people, place, tradition, and daily life shape the deeper story of a destination.
Diving
A scuba instructor with a long-standing connection to the sea, drawn to reefs, corals, marine life, and the quiet mystery of what unfolds underwater.
Off the beaten path
Smaller places, quieter routes, and overlooked corners that reveal themselves to patient observation and genuine curiosity.
Surf & coast
The rhythm of coastal life, from early morning morning surfs and changing tides to salt-worn towns, weathered textures, and the people who live close to the sea.
Lifestyle
Travel, design, wellbeing, health, and the everyday details that help a brand or story feel lived-in.
Tech
SaaS, websites, apps, and games. Content that relies on clarity, structure, and tone.
Atmosphere
A sensitivity to mood, light, texture, and movement, choosing words and images that capture what a place looks like and also how it feels.
